Library Guide for Diversity and Inclusion
Acknowledgment/award 2021: I was surprised to get a special acknowledgment in the EDC 2021 program : “The Libraries initially created a strategic partnership with the Division of Institutional Equity and Diversity through the work of Lilly Ramin. Lilly served on the previously active Student Support Task Force and contributed to the Campus Climate Survey. Lilly’s commitment to inclusion grew from making UNT libraries more accessible to students with regular tablings in the Multicultural Center to creating the first Library Resource Guide for the Division of Equity & Diversity’s events, which are used as part of UNT’s virtual diversity and inclusion training offerings...” This was in the program in addition to a UNT Libraries nomination letter.

- My
role: I attended and assisted at all speaking engagements, and served
on the commitment during it's full run alongside colleagues at UNT. For
2007 and 2008 I I led book clubs outside of schools and public
libraries (such as at Banter, which used to be on the Denton Square and
coffee shops). For book-clubs, I worked with vendors to secure space,
and created discussion questions to facilitate dialogue. For 2009
program, I assisted with publicity, and website.
